The Oral Sex Light and Other Bizarro Tidbits
Is this not the most hilarious thing you have ever seen? Just think, someone developed this, had a prototype made, patented it, and had it manufactured. What would you do if someone wore this? It’s hard to imagine that anyone who would purchase this would have access to another person’s genitals. I think it would be the perfect April Fool’s joke!
I found this craziness on InventorSpot.com, and there’s plenty more where this came from. Here’s an excerpt from the article:
“Looking similar to the microphone Madonna uses during live concerts, the oral sex light attaches easily behind the ear. This invention, however, can have multiple uses, some of which may be even better than its intended use. For instance, if your partner isn’t doing the job down there, you can ask him to toss the light up to you so you can read a book. Be creative and try to come up with some of your own uses for the oral sex light. Who knows, maybe it will be the best sex you ever had. Either that, or you’ll find items around your house that you thought were gone forever.”Also at InventorSpot.com is an interesting article entitled 15 Ads That Prove Sex Sells Best. My favorite is this Volvo ad, with the slogan “We’re just as excited as you.” Nice parking brake!
Finally, I’ve been poking around on this great site called Geekadelphia. I discovered it when I was researching my post Geeks Demand Equal Treatment Under Fairness Doctrine. I was utterly charmed by this font, created by a Dutch design firm. Check out their site here, they have pretty cool photos of the process:

OK, I know these fonts are random, and have nothing whatsoever to do with relationships. But are they not totally cool? You’ve got to admit they’re cooler than the Oral Sex Light. I want to be a Font Designer in my next life!
