I’m sensing a lack of long-term durability from this show.
Meaning that I suspect that it will jump the shark sooner rather than later. Either this season or next.
I’m *not* saying that it’s a bad show, just giving you my sense of the inevetiability of it’s dramatic decline.
I think she needed to do an actual 5-year arc or something because the narrative is going to go into the abyss as she overextends herself.
I think the premiere is next Sunday – January 13th.

I’ve been wondering about that too. It remains to be seen whether she can sustain the pace, and keep the storyline moving. I’d take comfort from Judd Apatow’s involvement as producer, but I thought the episode that he directed in Season 1 was the weakest by far.
