Drunk Girl Speaks Out

Lots of lessons here, but the one most relevant to my readers is this:

Never allow yourself to be filmed or photographed in any remotely compromising activity. Whether it’s on the street or in the bedroom, never relinquish control of your image to a person with a camera. It doesn’t matter if that person is a stranger with a story or a significant other with a heartfelt request.

We live in an age where the price of stupidity is high. Technology makes it possible to easily alter and distribute images. From revenge porn to episodes like this one, naive innocents find their reputations shattered, and Google never forgets.
