Well, I love these “AMALT – All Men Are Like That” express into.
I recently came across this term C&F game. What do the initials stand for?
4 John Eels:
No idea, but Google gives: C&F Game
Cocky&Funny game ?
Susan Walsh:
PTSD = post-traumatic stress disorder
I guess.
(hmm. Seems that this browser is spell-checking with Finnish — where is switch for form language? )
@Kari Keeper of Acronyms
If I am not mistaken it has been a full year since you last commented here. I recall your descriptions of Christmas with your daughter. We have missed you, and I am very happy to see you again! Happy New Year!
Susan Walsh:
I think that I commented a New Year here.
( If I remember correctly, I quit on http://www.hookingupsmart.com/2011/12/28/hookinguprealities/how-to-attack-a-blogger/, but I do not found that now. )
My last comment perhaps is here.
This system does not count ?
On top of page:
On comment section:
So there is 10 comments, but 8 is visible?
( Also still links on Recent Comments on front page or here does not work. If I remember correctly, that “feature” was introduced when paging of comments was added. )
Here 19 minutes to New Year.
Susan Walsh:
PLI ?
Susan Walsh:
LMAO = Laughing my ass (arse) off
I guess.
@Kari
Haha, you have some catching up to do! PLI = Principle of Least Interest. The person who cares the least in a relationship has the most power. A very Machiavellian but increasingly common view of relationships among risk averse youth.
Susan Walsh:
Thanks. Seems that Cooper later explained that.
Susan Walsh:
Why I see that as downward spiral?
Well. There is too much catching up.
Checking Machiavellian…
@Kari
Agreed! It’s a very dysfunctional way to approach a relationship, because it’s all about protecting oneself from risk, and we cannot have love without risk.
Susan Walsh:
FTR = for the reference?
Susan Walsh:
RR = Roraima, a state of Brazil ?
/ Kari Hurtta
Hope:
NF = Not Frat; denoting things counter to the culture of Greek life, particularly in the Southern United States ?
OffTheCuff:
MMSL = Men’s … ?
@ Kari Keeper of Acronyms; I again messed with HTML. Sorry. ☹
@Kari
FTR = for the record
RR = Rules Revisited
SayWhaat:
FTFY = Fixed that for you; appended to a modified quotation, as if the modification “fixes” the original statement ?
Just1Z:
LMFAO = Laughing my fucking ass (arse) off ?
IRL = in real life
/ Kari Hurtta
@Kari
NF is part of the categorization of personality types according to the Myers Briggs Personality Inventory:
http://www.davidmarkley.com/personality/idealist.htm
NFs are called the Idealists. I am an ENFJ. This is more than you bargained for, but this description of NFs is precisely what drives Mike C round the bend here at HUS:
MMSL = Married Man Sex Life
J:
DH = dear husband ?
